12/08/2009 - Participant News: Mazars setting-up of an IFRS Desk in Asia Pacific

The IFRS Desk in Asia Pacific will be created as of September 1, 2009. Pascal Jauffret, partner of the Financial Reporting team in Paris, will be the head of the IFRS Desk.

In response to its fast international development, especially in the regional area, Mazars create an IFRS Desk in Asia Pacific. This operation is part of a policy of sharing expertise and best practices within the group Mazars.
The objectives of this desk are:

To promote our IFRS services as many countries in Asia Pacific will adopt IFRS in the short or mid term;
To enhance our technical support towards our partners and staff in the region; and
To gain new PIE business using our technical expertise
