25/06/2010  - Kaufman, Rossin Promotes Three to Principal 


 

MIAMI, June 25, 2010 — Kaufman, Rossin & Co., one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, announced today that Ed Hirschberg, Mark Scott and Kara Stearns Sharp have been promoted to principals.

Ed Hirschberg has been a CPA for more than 30 years and joined the firm in January 2010 from London Witte.  He is head of the Fort Lauderdale office for forensic accounting and valuation services and focuses on litigation support and forensic accounting services in matrimonial and civil matters.

Mark Scott has been promoted from manager to principal in the estate and trust department. He has been with the firm for more than 10 years and specializes in international estate tax planning.

Kara Stearns Sharp was made principal in the forensic accounting and valuation services department.  She previously worked as the director of advisory services. Sharp has conducted numerous due diligence engagements throughout the United States on behalf of financial and strategic buyers.
