O'Halloran is delighted to announce two major initiatives that will strengthen their advisory capability for clients.
Recently they became a member of William Buck International Inc, which has representative firms across Australia. Becoming a member of William Buck is a natural next step for O'Halloran. They have enjoyed an alliance with William Buck member firms for a number of years, and are comfortable that this is the right decision for clients and staff.
For clients it will provide O'Halloran with access to a much broader range of resources, services and opportunities. For those clients whose business interests traverse the Tasman, there will be particular benefits in knowledge sharing in areas including tax, IFRS compliance, and corporate advisory. As the Australian and New Zealand governments accelerate their efforts to remove trade and investment barriers, O'Halloran believe there will be increased opportunities and need from clients for trans-Tasman advisory services.
For partners and staff, William Buck membership offers a greatly enhanced ability to improve professional development and career opportunities.
Importantly, O'Halloran retains independence and culture. What the member firms have in common is a commitment to providing clients with sound strategic advice, innovative solutions and service excellence.
O'Halloran vision is to be a leading provider of advisory and accounting services for growth-oriented businesses. The Australasian alliance is one part of realising this. Another is joining the Praxity global alliance of independent accounting firms, which is the world’s largest accounting association (based on fee revenues). With 511 offices in 72 countries, Praxity offers the international scale and coverage to help clients meet their business objectives, anywhere in the world.
The alliance serves to strengthen O'Halloran’s business in two ways. It provides a relationship for clients globally, in a wide range of industrial and business sectors. It also provides referrals to O'Halloran from international firms. Praxity participation is determined by cultural alignment – firms that are strong, independent, yet like-minded in their commitment to service quality, consistent and professional accounting services.
