What does William Buck Christmas Gouwland (WBCG) have in common with New Zealand Rugby, FUJIFILM NZ and Miles Toyota?
All were named finalists in the 2016 IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Awards in the small-medium workforce category.
This is the first time WBCG’s has entered the Awards, which form part of New Zealand’s largest employee engagement survey. As the only accounting firm among the finalists, it represents a significant achievement for the Praxity participant.
WBCG Managing Director, Clyde Young, said: “We set out to make our firm a different kind of accounting firm to work for, and one that is underpinned by a common purpose to ensure our people feel engaged and enabled to make a difference to our clients and each other.
“Our engagement scores have rapidly grown to 80 per cent which indicates that each individual in our firm innately understands their role in contributing to our workplace culture and aspires to bring the best of themselves to the office every day.
“We are very proud of the culture we have created and have strived to ensure the purpose of each individual within the firm fits with the purpose of the company – whether they are client facing or internal. The desire to build a great workplace culture is everyone’s responsibility.”
