Borrell Asociados of Nicaragua Joins Praxity

6 Dec 2024

With an outstanding reputation in Central America, Nicaragua’s Borrell Asociados is the newest member of the Praxity Alliance.

The firm, founded in 2011, delivers comprehensive financial, tax and audit solutions to its diverse portfolio of local and international clients across sectors such as agribusiness, energy, manufacturing, and healthcare. With a focus on creating sustainable value for their clients, the firm offers advanced tools and strategic solutions to continually innovate and adapt.

The firm is recognised by banks and major entities in Nicaragua, supporting the development of the country’s economy and underlining the firm’s professionalism and integrity. Borrell Asociados includes experts from a number of fields, with many decades of experience.

The CEO Victor Borrell explains the firm’s rationale in joining the Praxity Alliance:

“We chose Praxity for its focus on global collaboration and commitment to excellence, values that deeply resonate with our work philosophy. Being part of the Praxity Alliance strengthens our service offerings, allowing us to integrate international perspectives and solutions that directly benefit our clients. Membership provides us with an international platform to share knowledge and resources, enhancing our ability to serve our clients in a globalised business environment. It represents a key step towards strategic growth and the development of new opportunities that will elevate our service standards and contribute to the expansion of our firm.”

The firm continues Praxity’s drive to expand its presence in Latin America, with the careful acceptance of high-quality, innovative firms in the region. This strategic position is explained further by Praxity CEO Sam Louis:

“The cross-border, collaborative approach that comes so naturally to firms in Central America means that many already chime with Praxity’s most important values. Businesses in the region are showing innovation and outstanding growth in several metrics, as mature markets begin to realise the potential of this part of the world. Borrell Asociados are a strong example of that, understanding their region’s strengths intimately and making them count in their professional approach. We are delighted to welcome them to the Alliance.”

The Nicaraguan economy is predicted to grow by an astonishing 44% in the next 5 years, which is in line with much of the rest of the LatAm region. Local experts are alert to this growth and understand its context, which puts them in a strong position to make it count professionally. As one of the top firms in Nicaragua, Borrell Asociados are extremely well-placed in this period of rapid change.
