As part of the board’s communication strategy, in 2023 Praxity created a written commitment charter, unveiled in front of Alliance members at the Global Leadership Conference in Rome. This foundational document, signed by firm leaders, sets out the principles on which the Praxity Alliance was created, putting into words the work that member firms do across the world. This is an unprecedented step for an alliance in this industry and sets the tone for excellent professional standards and client service worldwide.
The Praxity Charter doesn’t represent a new commitment for member firms, a change in structure or a legal affirmation. Rather, the charter’s basis is to recognise the standards that tie the Alliance together. The charter has three founding points for Alliance member firms:
We care about each other’s clients as our own and leverage our strengths as an Alliance to deliver best-in-class solutions, authentic client-centricity and a personal touch.
We commit to maintaining strong personal relationships and working together for the benefit of our clients, our firms and the Alliance. Our trust in each other’s expertise and knowledge enables us to deliver outstanding results for clients.
We commit to open and responsive communication, prioritising requests from member firms to ensure client needs are met. We confidently articulate the benefits of the Alliance to clients, explaining our delivery model and demonstrating our global reach and excellent service.
The document was agreed upon initially by a great deal of collaborative work across the Alliance, with the Praxity board responding to their members’ need to speak with one cohesive voice.
Copies of the charter have now been sent out to Praxity member firms globally for display at their offices, representing their commitment to the core principles of the Alliance, as well as providing their clients with further proof of their excellent service. Having a firm commitment charter in place makes Praxity’s offering clear, both to members and their clients, helping the Alliance to advertise its aligned values.
At an introduction to the principles, Chairman Phil Verity spoke about the incredible work that firms were doing in the industry, celebrating successes and taking stock of the Alliance’s journey so far -
“Praxity is the first alliance to create and sign a charter with principles for how we work with each other. This represents a huge leap forward for the Praxity Alliance. Making these Alliance principles concrete gives a central point to everything we’re doing as an alliance, as well as setting the tone for how an alliance should behave – for ourselves, our members, and your clients.”
This document certifies the class-leading work that Praxity firms do day in, day out. Having a firm commitment charter in place communicates this to the world, telling prospective clients and fellow professionals what Praxity is and what it means to its members, who remain both independent and united.
